This Royal Albert Hospital sign was photographed in 2005, although by 2019 it had been taken down. It was located at the back of the main hospital building, near the Storey Workshops, on what was known as the Back Road. Although in the later years of the Royal Albert the use of the word 'patient', with its links to illness, rather than disability, was questioned, the sign indicates that it was still being used.
