Includes oral history interviews with SMG, who was a resident at Brockhall. Born in 1958, he went into Brockhall as a 4 year old in 1962, leaving later in the 1960s. After spending time at White Ash School, (Oswaldtwistle) Hargreaves House Children’s Home (Oswaldtwistle), Dame Evelyn Fox School (Blackburn) and finally Eden Grove School (Cumbria) he returned to Brockhall in 1974, aged 16. He left the hospital when he was twenty years old in 1978. In his interviews he talks about life at Brockhall, as well as touching upon his time at other educational and residential places.
